Call for Submissions: Tanzräume International Dance Festival 2024

We are thrilled to announce the Tanzräume reloaded International Dance Festival for Performing Groups/Companies and Choreographers. The festival will be held in Hagen, North Rhein Westfalia, from June 13th to June 16th, 2024.
Tanzräume is inviting national, international and emerging performing artists with scenic works of approximately 50-60 minutes in duration. We are committed to showcasing companies that take risks in their proposals and explore new formats and scenic languages.
The festival will cover the accommodation (in shared rooms) for the performers and necessary technical team of the company. We will also provide a fee of 3 to €5000 (depending on the venue). However, please note that the festival covers only limited transport costs.
We are looking for scenic pieces of emerging creators with a duration of approximately one hour. These can be performances, dance, multidisciplinary dance productions, or any of the existing scenic languages in- or outdoor.
The selected works will be shown during the Tanzräume Festival according to the program. The festival will have the right to broadcast the videos of the show sent, extracting fragments of the selected works for publicity, as well as the publication of the photos to promote the event before and around the dates of the festival.

Please note that there is a €30 application fee for all submissions. This fee covers the preselection process.
